This was one of my earliest efforts, but still turned out better than other ones I shot of besseae. Its a tricky one to get right in terms of lighting. If you go too bright the red details are lost. But its a very fine line between too light and too dark with this one, I found. This is a short sequence, shot over a day or so.

I haven't watch the video, but I wanted to comment on the great besseae you have and you're very good to be able to capture the besseae colour. :clap:
 
Hi Silvan, thank you. Those reds are very hard to shoot well, they have often frustrated me. My Nikon D800 handles it pretty well though, better than my earlier cameras. It is important when shooting besseae (in my view) to have the ISO at the lowest setting, and also undershoot as regards to the light. If you have "normal" light levels on the photo the reds get too bright and you lose detail.
