I love how this came out! The first bloom a few weeks ago was on a normal-sized spike, but when I cut it very early in the blooming to get this propped, the plant put out this short spike in protest with 5 magnificent blooms (original spike had 3.) Time will tell if the size improves, but I love this for the color and the incredibly (relatively) flat shape.

Beautiful for sure. I have a number of these novelty crosses but have a VERY hard time with them due to the fact I keep the greenhouse to cold for them.
