Location
Penang, Malaysia..d home of fabulous paphs.
= hookeriana x teres. The national flower of Singapore. A historic plant that contributed to the cut flower industry of Singapore and Malaysia around 40-50 years ago. This is the first time I am having so many spikes in bloom together, previously they were munched by the yellow orchid beetle before they could bloom. Grows like a weed in full blazing sun, and fed heavily with manure.

Thanks all.. :)

Is that an alba form near the bottom? Are they shorter than the normal colored plants?

The white one is Papilionanthe Poepoe 'Diana' AM/AOS, also a very old awarded clone. It can be equally tall, just that I grew it from shorter cuttings. Not sure if Miss Joaquim alba exists, but there are alba forms of teres and hookeriana, so I think it can be made.

Having a good show now (I only get to see them a bit late):
