Last winter, right by the window, probably 60 on the coldest nights. Usually higher a lot higher.

I don't think it has anything to do with it, though.
I know people whose Dollgoldi bloom throughout the year or any season, so cold cannot be the trigger.

Also, Hillsview was listing a bunch of blooming DG this summer. Late summer, I should add.

The reason I was asking is I have a friend that grows his very well. His minimum temps are between 50 and 55.

My winter is too warm for pretty much all I grow.
I'm sure they will all perform much better in better conditions.
DG and similar crosses are different stories, though.
They just are reluctant bloomer as a whole.

Your friends must have been lucky to have the willing bloomers.
It is very much case by case thing for these hybrids.
