Paphiopedilum micranthum f. eburneum

First bloom, from In Charm Orchids. Very promising flower on a very small plant (10cm). The flower over 10cm wide and over 12cm high. Further blooms on a stronger plant, it should be perfect!!

Yes, it should be, but the flower opened immediatly out of the growth, so the stem was very short. It will be better next time!

I find the two-toned petals with the well defind netting appealing. Maybe they where thinking more about the plant then the flowers when they name it micranthum. Excellent example here.
