Isn't it weird, I've spent years scrolling thru greenhouses looking for a hennisianum with straight-ish petals and never found one. And now you're standing here complaining that your hennisianum doesn't reflex. Not funny.

You should "bench" it at the next judging session. Well, maybe not cos some judge might consider it a hybrid since it doesn't reflex :wink:

David, the left bloom has been open maybe a week, and the other, at least two weeks...

re: petal reflex... the last time it bloomed the petals reflexed a bit more and to me that was what gave the species it's characteristic... here's the last blooming

I like these flowers if the petals reflex or not. But I've got to admit so far I've seen only P. hennisianum which petals had the reflex.
