Paphiopedilum Berenice (philippinense x lowii) is one of my favourite multifloral hybrids. Especially when the flowers have these twisted petals reminiscent of roebelenii.

This plant was bought from Orchid Inn last year. However, I do not know anything about the parentage.

I was surprised of the longelivity of the flowers. The first flower has been open 6 weeks now. Maybe I should cut the spike after a while to save some energy?

Very nice. I have a big one that has never flowered.

I agree. Let the plant decide when it's time to quit.
