Paph. villosum var. boxallii

I've been lucky most of the time with the flowers that have bloomed for me. This one I was a little disappointed with. I would have liked more of that orange colour in the petals and a lot more spots, but I can't complain too much.



Just a quick picture to compare the size with the villosum I have. The boxallii looks like it is sitting farther back but it isn't really.

Looks like i have this variety too. The leaves are thinner and longer, the spike is more of the green side.

I got it from Cloud's Orchids, but I haven't seen it for sale on their web sight since 2015. It's not so much that I don't like it. Ideally I was dreaming of something a little different.
