I got this plant as a single growth division a few years back. The first few bloomings were disappointing. Now that the plant has multiple growths, the flower is looking better. Unfortunately, I didn't get it photographed before the green started fading to yellow.

Very nice! Yellow is better than green anyway. In this case, green is basically an indication of a not fully matured flower. A lot of white Cattleyas open green-ish and don't look their best until 3 to 5 days later when they lose the green cast and brighten and whiten. I find the same happens with a lot of Paphs. I'd say that you took the photo at just the right time! It's gorgeous!
