8 blooms on three spikes. There were three other buds that blasted.

Also, I now know that I should stake it for the next blooming.

Mine never needs to be staked, maybe because of the sun being lower in the sky and your plant being side lit.

It's actually occurred to me, looking at the picture again –

It doesn't look like a Saint Low, does it? More like a Susan Booth or something?

What do you all think?

As for its true identity... Doesn't lowii like to have that arching spike?

I can never remember the parantage of the Saintly paphs.

This one looks like its got lots of philipinnense with maybe a little wilhelm/praetens/glanduliferum in it. Maybe roth, but the staminode is not roth like at all.

I don't see any lowii influence in this plant.

Lots of cool flowers though.

Very beautiful. I kind of like the unstaked flowers, it is more graceful. Such a big healthy plant. Nice job.
