Hey Dot,
Looks like fairly nice form for first bloom on a smallish seedling. I hope it grows up to be a steady regular bloomer for you. Flower should get bigger and a little fuller on the next blooming.

You have sharp eyes! I took another look at the flower and photo today. I hope this one is closer to the real thing:

Now it's kind of a dark purple.

What kind of light are you shooting this under?
