Very nice flower and photography. Always appreciate the whole plant shot. Flowers will be bigger on a more mature plant. Size usual trends downward as the spike progresses but in this case you may get larger flowers through spring/early summer if it is getting natural light.

Well balanced flower to me. On the high end of the grading chart for this species. This species is small so size isn't a hugh issue. This variety and victoria mariae (species ) are the only two Cochlopetalums left that man-made hybrids haven't screwed up the genetics yet.

Eric, the upright spike is a result of growing under lights. One bonus of the small flower is no staking was needed!
