Labeled Paph.bodegomii, this was a small one-juvenile-growth accidental division of a friend's plant a few years back. The original plant was an old, pre-cites collected plant. This has not been a robust plant, as is often the case with collected plants, and struggled for a decade before finally giving me one deformed bloom two years ago. This time, two perfectly formed lovely flowers on a plant of rather short stature.

Nice. My praestans took quite a few years to establish. Growing well now.

This time, two perfectly formed lovely flowers.

I can see one. Are you counting your chickens before they have hatched? :) My praestans currently in flower has a severely deformed flower.

Thats a beautiful form I'd buy that any day of the year. My preastans when I repotted the seedling, had rubbish roots but seems to be doing well with a heat under it.

This plant has an uncommon vita so it's nice to see it flowering. Though the dorsal is cupped altogether it's a nice flower.
