The colour of this one is very pale; but, I liked the shape and large size so much, that I bought this one last spring as a present for myself. I'm guessing that the glaucophyllum parent was actually var. moquetteanum.

Very nice. What is that in your avatar? It looks like a purple Hanne Popow, but I've never seen one that color.

Thanks Park Bear, Tony and Dot. This is the 4th or 5th bloom on the same stem. It has produced blooms from spring right through the summer heat and into the fall, when I was being cheap with the heat and letting everything cool off a bit. The colour has always been this pastel. I do like it; but, I don't ever expect this clone to win any awards with that colour. Tony: Yes, my avatar is a Hanne Popow with very saturated colour when grown cool. Clonal name is 'PJ'. Here is a larger photo.

BTW Dot, Congratulations on your correct identification and winning the contest!
