On my first trip to the Chicagoland fest 15 (?) years ago, I picked up a stuffed compot of these and have hung on to one as it is one of my favorite species. These, at least, did not take so long to bloom as the Arthur and roebelenii albescens, and this has bloomed for me on and off for the last 12 years or so. I have another moquettianum as well from different parentage, but for some reason it does not bloom as readily.

What part of this flower isn't interesting? It looks like one of those flowers that god made after he had made everything else first - he put it together using all the spare parts :rollhappy: Still, I'd say the petals are the best part.
