I think this twist is normal for all cochlos. It reminds me of a long auger coming from the left to the right. Am I thinking correctly?

Yes in this section, all flower petals twist opposite from each other on each side.

Mine from Sam improved tremendously on the 2nd blooming - and it got an HCC the first blooming!

The twisting has tighten up and it measures 4.5 inches across. I'm impressed with Sam's breeding.

4.5in! Very nice Moq Rick... I have two, one on huge high spike and good blooms. Another, HUGE plant, HUGE blooms low spiker, blooms in the leaves... Dammit!
