Well, glory be! I’ve figured out the mystery of getting an orchid you’ve been growing for 5 years with no blooms to bloom! Ignore it, except for water and offer to give it to a friend!! I finally gave up on this one and just this week offered it to a friend. Fortunately I never heard back from the friend, because today to my surprise it’s in spike! Anticipation… other

Oh they ALWAYS spike when they sense you're going to give them away. They just usually wait until the day after you do.
