Another of Nick Tannaci's crosses. This one is (Conco-bellatulum 'Beast' x S. Gratrix 'Lemon'). S. Gratrix is (bellatulum x godefroyae), and Conco-bellatulum is (concolor x bellatulum), making this hybrid:

%50 P. bellatulum
%25 P. godefroyae
%25 P. concolor

Concolor usually gives a cream-to-yellow background color, and here the S. Gratrix parent bears the clonal name 'Lemon', which seems to imply some yellow color as well—perhaps this can help to explain why this bloom is greenish! I've never seen a Brachy this color before. I love it!

Click through to the Flickr pages for large sizes.

 I like it too! The marking are neat/different & add greenish yellow tinge!

I'm liking what I'm seeing from the plants I got from Nic. They have to open up a bit more for their photo session.

Wow, another very cool brachy!!!!
I intend to order an Otogozen ( S.Gratrix x bellatulum) in a few days! Curious to see that bloom! Jean
