Paph Lyro Brachysaurus... I think?

Hello everyone.

This is a cross from Krull Smith, Paph. leuchochilum x Paph James Bacon. The thing is this is the name of the cross for Paph. godefroye x James Bacon. Can anyone help? I do love the flower but I hope it opens more (it has been opening for 3 days from a closed bud). Thanks for looking!

It should be the same cross. P. leuchochilum is usually considered a variety (subspecies?) of godefroyae....................Eric

Yes, (godefroyae var. leucochilum X James Bacon) is Lyro Brachysaurus. This site (RHS searchable database, see below) is handy for those without fancy-schmancy software, but it doesn't tell you where leucochilum falls etc. ... http://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/registration_orchids.asp
