I have a "select" plant from Krull-Smith that is blooming for the first time for me. I have pollen from phillipinense 'Alford' to put on it (Berenice) and would like to remake Paph Julius (lowii x rothschildianum). Does anyone have some pollen from a quality roth that you would like to share?

Thanks
Gary

Is this a multigrowth plant which is blooming for the first time? I would be hesitant to pollinate a first time bloom on single growth of a "select" plant. You may be better off looking for a surrogate to carry the pod from the lowii pollen. This is just my paranoid opinion.

I agree with Tyrone but with lowii, it's possible to have a multigrowths plant for a first time bloomer. So, it can be possible without problems if the plant is "big".

It's a 3-growth previously bloomed plant that it blooming for the first time for me (I tried to kill it, but it didn't cooperate)
