Well the flower is fully opened and the dorsal flattened the petal span is 8". The second bud is swelling.

wow, your french is perfect!! The difficulty, for me, generally consists in bringing a plant (esp. a large one) to the place, where the black curtain and the tripod are !! Jean

Thanks...quality is in the breeding not necessarily the one that grows it, LOL. I am very happy with this HK...I have 3 of them in my collection and this is the best of the 2 that have bloomed so far.
