I don't find them difficult at all. Just give them a little drier period for a month or so in the winter and they're happy. .

Ummm, does that mean that I can't water them twice a day!? She so doesn't get it!

What's this talk of a third year growth? Mine has not done that. I bought it as NBS and less then a year it pushed up two side growths and a flower from the main growth. The side growths were no where near mature. That was last year, this year one of the sides is spiking and of course more growths are emerging.

Mine bloomed the year after it put up two new side growths also... The only thing I can say for sure is that it did get a little drier this winter. But, the light levels were somewhat low - as I have my Paphs growing next to my Phal seedlings. I do have consistent light in my greenhouse - since I put up a couple 400 watt MH last fall. As far as temps go, my greenhouse never goes below 64.
