I've has this plant for about 4 years now and each of it's 3 times blooming for me it's had 2 flowers. I'm wondering if it's something in the plants genetics that makes it prone to have 2 flowers when it blooms? Other delenatii I've had only had 1 flower.

It does seem to be genetic. Its very common for delanatii to have 2 blooms on a spike, but some clones just seem to regularly produce only one.

Very nice.

I think during last years delenatii season someone posted a thread that showed a whole bench of triple bloom spikes. Sparked a whole thread on the definition of what "multiforal" paphs should be.

I have one in spike now that has only had single blooms per spike until this year, and so far I have two good looking buds developing on the same spike.

So far no luck with getting my own delenatii to bloom. And you have two on a single spike. Well done!
