Paph. charlesworthii, this is one of the survivors from the years of indifference and probably why I am focused on species Paphs.

This one I got by mistake. I ordered P. villosum var. boxallii. My first thoughts were "This is one for the raffle table.", but it is so robust and vigorous That I can't help liking it. It grows on me, even though it seems to have it's parents worst traits. (P. boxallii x P. callosum)

Love the charles cross.

I this the first blooming for the boxallii x callosum?

No 2nd or 3rd I think. It had one flower the first time, that's when I sent a letter and a picture to the vender. They told me there was a mix up with a flat of seedlings. When they started to flower all the cards and letters came flowing in. They get their plants from Hung Sheng Orchids, but I don't if all their plants come from that grower. The person I bought the plant from told me it was P. J. Bartels reg. in 1894. That's all I know. The flower is quite big.
