Tjhis is a plant I purchased along with the spicerianum! This has no damage to its leaves, but the bud is dead I guess! Too soft!!! It is quite large so I guess it will do fine next time...

Very strong plant. Mine is not that big but has flowered 2 times this year.
I am pretty sure it will flower nice within a cople of months.
I always replant new plants asap.

Berrak: I did replant it!! I always do, unless the mix and plant are in good condition.

This happened to one of my Phrags recently -- all of a sudden the spike just flopped over. I hate when that happens.

I've had that happen a couple of times too! Cut it off it's not doing that good looking plant any good!

I generally only blast phrags but have lost a couple of paphs over the years....really rots me (pun intended!). The plant looks great and multiple flowers should be in your future.

As others have noted, that's a great looking plant! The bud just didn't like moving or something. With all the healthy growth, it will reward you down the road.
