I did not realize that some of them flower so early, I think mine did not open until mid summer last time.
In what months does this species normally flower?

The blossom and especially the closeups are very nice. My poor P. malipoense arrived in spike then quickly turned to feces with some sort of brown rot. I've managed to save two leaves and it is still chugging away but no new growth yet despite almost daily inspection.
