Kyushu, Japan; warm temperate/subtropical climate
Some orchids in my garden currently in flower; one a North American species, and the other two Japanese natives.

First, the North American Calopogon tuberosus in flower in the bog garden:

Next, the Japanese native terrestrial Phaius flavus:

Finally, another Japanese native (but this time an epiphyte), the appropriately named Bulbophyllum inconspicum. Each flower is at most 3 mm long:

All of these endure the local conditions living outside year round.

Wonderful plants.... I will agree with cwt... Phaius flavus is perfect... :D
