New tolumnias !!!!!!

Hello everybody !!!! I just wanted to share my 3 new little beauties. I went to Home Depot to get some silicone and this guys had just arrived. Enjoy !!!!!

Here at my Home Depot we've got a really nice selection. Catts, Phals, Dends, Paphs, Vandas, Inter. Onc., even some species once in a while like Doritis pulcherina var. champornensis, Den. spectabile and Den. aggregatum.

Great selection. If our Home Depot has anything, it's Phals and maybe a few intergenerics. Same with all the big box stores around here.

I love Tolumnias. They are really easy if you set them up right. For me that means forget about the flower pot. Mount them on cork or cedar shingle, hang them high which is little warmer & put them in a sunny spot. They bloom and bloom. You may have better luck in a pot than me, it depends on your conditions.

Great!! I love Tolumnias! I only have 4, but 3 of them are in spike!
The Home Depot around here has junk. Mostly Phals in questionable shape.
Your new babies are great!!!

Home Depot with Tolumnias!!! That is a good one!! Around here we are lucky to get Phals. & some Catts.!!! I've never seen paph's or anything else at the 1 in town, or others I've been at.
Good luck!! & hopefully they will show up around here!!!

Tolumnias!? At Home Depot!? First of all, there's only 3 Home Depot in NYC for the approx 4 million residents! Then, I've never seen orchids at those, probably OVU [Orchid Vendors Union] restriction!!!
And on top of that, the other close HD's in NJ and Westch'r only carry Phals!!! :sob:
Thanx for posting, some of mine are in bud; I'll post when they bloom, except for the one that got toasted by the radiator's heat!!!
