Candace--that is just a new plant species with the black flower of the aspidistra family if I read correctly --not an orchid--said the new orchids were leafless

I don't think the slide show photos coincide with the descriptions of the discoveries, making it confusing.

The photo with print under it saying new orchid found is very misleading.

Edit: Oops Dot was typing while I was. Exactly. Those of us who know what an orchid looks like would catch it right away, but it's just more misinformation for the general public.
