@ SlipperFan:
When I reached at 500+ plants inside the house, I started an expansion of about 50 sqm. A ´Wintergarten´ was built, first I thougt it should be a living area for both us, people and plants, but I was wrong…

You and I have a lot in common! When I reached 500+ orchids in my home, we built a greenhouse. I moved my plants in this past January, and I'm afraid to count them now!

It reminds me of a poem I love, by Richard Armour:

OUTSIDE IN

It isn’t enough to have plants in our yard.
Plants indoors are even more fancy.
These plants are in pots, for our floors lack soil.
Or at least enough to be plantsy.

Some plant-filled pots are on tables and chests.
Some riskily hang from the ceiling.
If you visit our house, you will find that it has
An indoors-and-outdoors feeling.

We can’t bring all of the plants inside,
But we’ve quite a good deal of greenery.
Our guests peer around from behind a plant
And say they admire the scenery.

It will need some time to introduce my very mixed collection here, and I too, need some time to find the right place to post it here, let´s start with a first view inside the ´Wintergarten´
