new growths mean no flowering?

I have a little Paph Deperle and was waiting to see if it was large enough to bloom. 2 tiny new growths just started. Does that mean the existing fan will not bloom?

Nope, that's a great sign if it's sending out new growths. Some Paphs. need at least a start or more before blooming, some tend to send out new growths toward the end of flowering or just after blooming is done - depends on the species/hybrid. I don't have first hand experience with this one, but I'd guess it could bloom soon if it's started new growths.

New growths is a good thing! It may flower soon ;) Some plants send new growths before flowering, and some don't. My blooming deperle had a new growth started
