Michel his living not far from my place, just to mention and show you than snow made a good insulation too...
The problems some years is where to put all that snow when they clean up the road...You can see my little greenhouse on the back, the walls are in concrete 8 inches. 4 feet’s underground and 4 feet’s above. We needs tricks to grow orchids up here.... :rollhappy: I love winters!

Hey - that looks just like where I live! :rollhappy: Luckily it's finally warmed up to -6C today (21F) and we're going to get a chinook so that will melt some of our snow.
