No fragrance as far as I can tell. It is new to my collection and the coloring does not match any that I find on the internet.

Dot, nowhere near as many Maxxies as Bulbos and both are such a big genera. I thing I have 40+ species of Maxxies.

They are working on reclassifying some of the Maxillaria. The rufescens group has been moved to Mormolyca. But that doesn't mean that I don't have an interest in Mormolyca,:rollhappy: I just added an undescribed species from that group. Suppose to have pretty red flowers. I have been told that it should be described in the near future bu German Carnovali and should be named Mormolyca dodsoni

Jean...I believe it is in the Grandiflora group that sanderiana is also in...the flower is smaller than sanderiana. The flower is about 2" (5.08 cm) wide
