this is a grown up plant that I got in 1992 from Akerne in Belgium. It took a long, long time to get used to my environment! I have made some divisions of the original plant since then.
These last 3 years, the main part has become a fine bloomer! this year, at least 12 spikes with 1 or 2 flowers (size +/- 2cm)!

Another example that patience pays!!!

I think this is one of the nicer and larger flowered Lockhartia species. I was amazed at the detail of the flower for being such tiny flowers.

I have one that has flowers that are only a few millimeters in size.

I also collect lockhartias. Unfortunately I grow mine all together and can't tell one species from another until they bloom! Good growing and thanx for sharing.
