Wasn't sure where to post this so I put it here.
I have a book which says that P. leeanum was found as a natural hybrid mixed in with bulk importations of insigne and spicerianum back in the early 20th century True or not?

I have a book (Tropical Slipper Orchids, Harold Koopowitz) which says, that the cross (insigne x spicerianum) was made by John Seden, registered in 1884 by Sir Trevor Lawrence.
Maybe nature had the same idea...
