i deflasked these Johanna Burkhardt in August 2014... so about 9 months ago. Here they were last year.

I always prefer to pot the whole flask up without removing the agar. this avoids any damage to the leaves and roots.

i usually will separate and repot after 6 months so these were overdue...here they were today. this cross has great hybrid vigor!

there was still a little agar on the roots after all this time but the roots were all plump and healthy.

I have bought 8 of Sam's multifloral flasks over the past year and they are doing quite well, except one (Gary Romagna)..but they were pretty spindly to begin with.
