This is part two of the spring series. No narration, but I do have everything numbered with a species list at the end of the video. It is an epic which aged me about 1 year in the constructing of it. There are many orchids in this one, so if you are patient, you'll get to see them all including three slippers: Cypripedium debile, formosanum, and japonicum. Enjoy.

Beautiful, Tom! Are all those Cyps native to Japan?

C. japonicum and C. debile, yes, C. formosanum, no. C. japonicum is also found in China and Korea, while debile has an odd disjunct distribution in Japan, the mountains of western China, and the mountains of Taiwan. C. formosanum is limited to the mountains of Taiwan. I couldn't resist adding the latter since it is so beautiful and very closely allied to C. japonicum.
