this is 'Harefield Hall' x sib or x self or maybe there's some of both out there! It's from Orchid Inn, my tag says x sib but some have x self.

The white field around the spots is very pretty.

The big synsepal makes it look like it's trying to be an exul!

Thanks guys, I do like this species, it's an easy keeper for me, hopefully it will breed, it's got some nice characteristics.

:rollhappy: I wish my exul would bloom as reliably as this one does! I didn't know what to do with the cute little barbigerum until now!
Is it really possible that insigne x barbigerum has not been done?

Natural spread x height = 9.5 cm x 9.5 cm.
Wow that's a serious size!!!! Jean

Is it? It's the only insigne I have, I have nothing to compare it to. From the top of the dorsal to the bottom of the synsepal it's a solid 9.5, the spread is a bit harder to measure, I broke one of the petals yesterday taking photos.

Wonderful!!! How do you grow it?
with some neglect! :rollhappy: It's really kinda easy, bright indirect-light shade, dries a bit more between waterings than what it should, right in front of the vent in the GH so gets a bit of a chillin in fall before I stuff the insulation in.
