Since moving mine to baskets there's roots all over.

Another Paph pic in the series looks like a hookerae/volonteanum. More moss and leaf litter in that pic. More moisture.

It's a type of rock, ultra-basic and high and Magnesium. Here's an article about plants growing in serpentine soil in the US.

I always amazed seeing an in situ photo....few months ago I saw an in situ druyrii flowering surrounded with burned out grass(!!!) exposed with full sunlight. If I could see well this plant is also exposed with full sunlight.
