Fernwood New Zealand Tree Fern

Has anyone tried using the new soft New Zealand tree fern by Fernwood, either as the only substrate as they suggest or combined with bark mixes? Some where on the net I once say a page that showed this product in different stages of wetness and telling you when you should water it. Can't seem to find it any longer. Can one send me a link?

I put some advanced seedlings in it (100%) and similar in my usual bark/charcoal/perlite a year ago - my 'usual' plants are all bigger

I love NZ tree fern. The color lightens as it dries. I have yet to determine how long before it starts decomposing. Here is a source:
