Ah... now I feel home-sick. I left a HUGE delicatum behind in South Africa when I came to the US.

Right, only twice a year, in autumn before frost and in spring after frost.
It makes about 10 kg growth per year.

Stunning a monster I planted one of these in the glass house at the RHS this size, but staff changes and it got removed several years after I left there.
