Hello everyone,

I was given a Cyp flavum bare-root a few months ago, and planted it up as per the potting diagram on the carl frosch website (believe it was February) and it has not really done very much. It has put up a bud and eventually produced one leaf, but has done nothing else.

It is still green, but just does not grow. Do they do this sometimes after being moved, or am I doing something wrong?

I water with rainwater whenever the top inch of the medium feels dry, and feed a weak solution every 2 weeks or so.

I keep the plant underneath a cypress tree in the same area as Meconopsis and various Primulas. Strong light in the morning until about 10am and then again from about 5pm through until about 8pm.

Does this sound right?

I have other terrestrial orchids, and have not had a problem before - this is my first Cyp., and I really do want to keep it going. :)
