This is one of my wifes orchids. It's a very large bloom and a large plant as well. Next year we're hoping for more flowers.

it would have been gorgeous if the flower count was higher... I wonder why the low flower count? Is it a first bloom? Or maybe it wasn't vernalised enough..?

The color is wonderful and I love the speckled lip. (It is still called a lip for a cymbidium, right?).

It wasn't getting enough light in the last 12 months so the flower count was low. That's the only thing I can consider, it was too shaded.

Next year will be better I'm sure.

Darren, don't hold your breathe waiting for lots of flowers. This is one cym thats not big in that department.
