Hard to grow species, I got it in bark mix 6 month ago, too,but it was very unhappy in it. Nothing happened for a a while, only older leaves started to turn yellowish. Of course it is not a good sign. Said to be similar zieckianum ( if we talk about culture ) goes very well in shagnum with fern. So I decide to try it at my violas. Result is very good: I put it in under conditions only 3 weeks ago. A big new leaf , 2 new roots and one new growth started. I keep them similar way: under semitransparent pot. They got rain water only once, sphagnum is always wet, however I didn't watered till this time.
( note: my tranlienianum is very unhappy, however it is only a small seedling, I had to remove it from sphagnum, tranli dislike this, lost almost all roots)
