This is Clo. JEM's Dragon Tears 'SVO' x Ctsm. Orchidglade 'Davie Ranches' AM/AOS.
It looks like a bad Ctsm. Orchidglade 'Davie Ranches', which I really like and I was curious what the outcome of this hybrid will be like.
I wish the lip was bright yellow instead of light green. Oh, well...
Do these bloom pretty consistent each time??

First time flowering with only 4 flowers.
It started to open about three days ago and still look like this.
I wonder how long it takes to open fully or this is it??

No scent.

That is the fullest roundest clowesetum I've ever seen! Have you sent a pic to Fred? I'm sure he'd be ecstatic with that outcome. I really enjoy everything about that flower

It's a first blooming, I'd say it's probably done opening. It will be very consistent in size, shape, and color. It may flatten out a bit next blooming

I'm surprised almost everyone who saw this likes it.
I guess I'm just not a catasetum person.

I like Cycnoches, also. But if you offered this to me, I'd take it!
