Not the best blooming for me, and I really need to repot it this year. But it's always good for the start of winter.

 
Very nice! I tried growing one of these once and it slowly declined. It wasn't dormant, it was dead. What's your secret?
 
Not sure if its anything other than luck. I got the original bulb (bare root) about 5 years ago from Ed M. It's C. vestista, and I can't remember if its got a clonal name.

Ed had me pot it up with about a 1" layer of moss in the bottom, and then CHC mix around the bulb. As long as its growing with leaves, give it a fair amount of water. When the leaves start dropping cut the water way back. I hardly water it at all during the winter. It likes a fair amount of light, but not much heat. It helps to keep the humidity up so that you can stretch out between waterings.
