I got this from AWZ Orchids 3 years ago. It is their Z-943, 'Arraial D'Ajuda' (Bahia) x self. According to them, they occur in the lower part of the trees at lower altitudes (around 980 feet high) in Espirito Santo State and in southern Bahia State. This one is derived from Bahia.
This is the first bloom for me. I knew it is a big species, but it became big quicker than I expected. Now, I knew it is a big species, but I have to think where I will grow it. I couldn't get it out from the grow tent for the photos (without making too much disturbance).
I'm catching up with the back log of photo processing, and this was taken in June 10.
