At the botanical garden where I work they have some catsm. species that do this. I never get tired of it. I keep touching the hairs that trigger the pollen ejector and always get a kick out of seeing the pollen shoot out. If your finger is used it will hit your finger but if you use a bamboo skewer it will pass by and you can see how far it will go. I was talking to Fred Clarke and he said that people have seen bees in the wild get stunned or knocked out for a minute from the force. Simply amazing!
