C. reginae pod

I just discovered a pod on my C. reginae! I can't let the seed go to waste...so when is the best time to harvest it? Green pod or dry seed? First dibs should go to Post Hill, the source of the plant...what do you think, Ron?

Ron likes doing green pods at about 6-7 weeks. I have 2 that I am sending him..

Orchid Wiz says green pod harvest at 30 days. But I'd defer to Ron on this one.

Done by the bees....it had 3 blooms on one stalk...the oldest bloom is the one that set.

It is a sin to let it go to waste! I would be happy to flask it for you. 6 weeks works very nicely with reginae but 7 is not too late!

Great! Lets see.....it bloomed end of May, so its just about 6 weeks now. Should I send it to you now or wait a few days? Send it to Post Hill? Thanks!

I would give it one more week. Please send in a small box like the cassette boxes at the post office so it doesnt get crushed.
