nice. I’ve yet to touch the bifoliates. what Are they like to grow compared to the unifoliates?
Bifoliates are wonderful, both species and hybrids. Often more flowers per growth.
they can be a little fussy about when they are repotted. They really only want to be repotted when new roots emerging, which can be before, during, or after blooming depending on the species. They can sulk if timing is wrong. Look at Saint Augustine Orchid Society Website. There is a bunch of good information on these beauties Including who blooms when and which needs repotting when. Incorporating Bifoliates into your collection can give blooms in all the seasons.
